Madison T. Bowyer
Madison T. Bowyer was born in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, in 1813, and came from Logan County to this county with his parents, James and Margaret, in 1835. He married Rachel, daughter of Daniel and Rachel Sargent, whose children are, Elbert, Rhoda, Jackson, Susan, Rachel, Amos, Nathan, Harvey, Nesbit, Susan, Charlotte and Cora. Mrs. Bowyer was born in Champaign County in 1818. Her parents never lived in this county. Madison T. and Rachel Bowyer have four children--Henry H., Susan S., Alfred E., and Cynthia A. Susan was married to Joseph McCoy, and Cynthia to Nathan Crubb. They both live in this county. Henry is married, and lives in this county.
