Andrew Hauenstein

Andrew Hauenstein was born Jan. 19, 1844, at Degerfelden, Switzerland, and in 1856 came with his parents, Henry and Fanny Hauenstein, from Switzerland to Allen County, Ohio. His wife was born in this township March 18, 1851. She was Barbara Steiner, and is sister to David Steiner, and daughter of Christian and Barbara. Mr. Haunstein [sic] has two brothers, John and William, and two sisters, Emma and Fanny. Mr. H. has held the office of township clerk.
