James A. Hover
James A. Hover was born in Trumbull County in 1828, and in 1833 came with his parents, Joseph and Caroline, to Allen County. His wife was born in Wayne County in 1830, and in 1834 was brought to this county by her parents, Matthew and Elizabeth Dobbins, whose children are, John, Hugh, Martha, Joseph and Nancy. Mr. Hover's brothers and sisters are, Josiah, Joshua, Matilda E., Cyrus, William, Oscar and Adgate. His children are, Ida, Alma, Cyrus and Clinton. Mr. Hover has held the office of Township Trustee and School Director.
