James M. Harrod

James M. Harrod is the son of William and Mary Harrod, and brother of Margaret R., Albert M., and Laura A. Mr. and Mrs. Harrod are both natives of this county. He was born April 1, 1842; she on the 17th of February, 1842. Mr. Harrod's parents settled in the county in the year 1841. Mrs. Harrod was Martha Patterson, daughter of John and Catharine Patterson, who came to Allen County in 1838. Her brothers and sisters are James, Henry, William, Jane, John, Nancy and Dorotha. The children of James M. and Martha Harrod, are Josephine D., and Laura D.
