William Huber
William Huber is a native of Wurtemburg, Germany. In 1835, at the age of 17, he came to Allen County with his parents, Frederick and Barbara Huber. His brothers and sisters are Charles, Jacob, Theresa, Henry and Caroline. His wife was born in England in 1824. She is a daughter of Edward and Emily Austin, and is one of a family of nine--Emily, Mary A., Margaret, Sarah, Eliza, Charlotte, George, John, and Lenora. Mr. Huber has eleven children--Lewis W., Eli, Erastus, Mary, E---, Nancy, Oscar, Clermont, Alice E., Ida A., and Sally A. Mr. Huber has been township trustee fourteen years.
