Alexander F. Irick
Alexander F. Irick was born in Virginia, in the year 1819. His parents, Jonathan and Mary Irick, died in Fairfield County, this state. They had eight children--John F., George W., Isabella, Alexander F., Elizabeth, Julia, Diana and Mary. Mr. Irick married Elizabeth Kiggins, who was born in this state, in the year 1820, and whose parents, Jonathan and Elizabeth Kiggins, died in Mercer County. She is one of a family of ten--Minerva J., Lewis, Mary, Rosanna, James, Margaret, Elizabeth, Catharine, Harriet and Charlotte. Following are the names of the children of Alexander F. and Elizabeth Irick--John F., William L., Mary C., (Theressa and Francis C., deceased), James I., Minda, Alexander, Elizabeth, Dorixa, Jack M. and Eliza E. Mr. Irick has held several township offices.
