Peter Jacobs
Peter Jacobs, son of Mark and Margaret Jacobs, married Annie Ward, daughter of James and Mary Ward. He was born April 14, 1810, in Warren County, and she was born in Perry County, Feb. 29, 1808. Mrs. Jacobs has two brothers, John and James Ward, and a sister, Elizabeth. Her parents came to Allen County, in 1854. Mark and Margaret Jacobs never resided in this county. Their children are Mary, Cyrus, Peter, John, Caroline and Daniel. Peter came to Allen County in 1834. The children of Peter and Annie Jacobs are Mary, James, William, Samuel and John. Mary is the wife of Alexander Madden, and lives in Missouri. James married Susan Hall, and lives in Kansas. William married Mary Scroter, and Samuel married Nancy Parker, and both live in Allen County.
