Dr. W. M. Miller


Virginia in 1827 sent one of her sons to Delaware to contend for business. He first located at Worthington, the favorite resort of the new physician to the new world. After a brief stay. Dr. W. M. Miller opened an office in Delaware. He was an alumnus of an eastern college and a well-read physician. He did not succeed very well, and soon moved to Columbus, and afterward to Missouri. He was a brother-in-law of President Tyler.
