Shep. Logan


Shep. Logan, deputy clerk, Washington, was born in Washington, October 21, 1853. He is a son of Wilson B. and Mary V. Logan, both natives of this state. They had a family of four children, three sons and one daughter : James W., Sina V., Clayton C, and Shep.

Shep., our subject, has been deputy county clerk some four years, and now fills that position. He received his education in Washington, where the principal portion of his life has been spent. His father was captain of Company D, 175th O. Y. I., and was, killed at the battle of Franklin, Tennessee, on the 30th of November,' 1864, after passing through all the hard-fought and bloody battles up to that time.
