J. F. Kirkpatrick, M.D.


Doctor Kirkpatrick is a native of Warsaw, Indiana. Early in life removed with his parents to McLean county, Illinois, and attended the State University at Bloomington. For five years taught school in Leon, Iowa, and then took a three years' course in the Keokuk Medical College, graduating in '76. He began practice in Jamestown, Ohio, but in '77 came to Madison county, locating in Sedalia. Here he remained till 1885, when he moved to London and has been here ever since, except five years spent in Columbus. Doctor Kirkpatrick enjoys a large practice, and stands very high as physician and citizen. He has been a great student of his art, as well as in other branches of science, and his education is on the broad gauge plan. He is a member of the county, State and American Medical Associations. Is a Mason of high degree, also a K.P.
