Dr. Robert H. Trimble

Dr. Robert H. Trimble was born on a farm near Mt. Sterling in 1870. He acquired a common school education at home and then worked his way through college, graduating in medicine. For the past fourteen years he has practiced medicine at Mt. Sterling and has been very successful.

Although that village is strongly Republican he was twice elected mayor on the Democratic ticket and also was afterward appointed to that office by council. He is at present a member of the village school board.

Dr. Trimble believes in the organization of his profession and has been a member of the Madison County Medical Society since its organization, serving that body as president in 1906.

The social side of Dr. Trimble's character is highly developed and he is an active member of several fraternal organizations, among which are the Masonic, the K. of P.s, Odd Fellows and Modern Woodmen of America. He was elected delegate to the Grand Lodge of K. of P. two years ago.

His home life is ideal and is never happier than at home with his wife and his four young sons.

Dr. Trimble is a man of sterling character, who has the confidence of all he comes in contact with and his ability is unquestioned. He would make Madison county a most excellent member of the next legislature.
